Our primary mission is to join with parents in teaching about God's ways and to help our students practice walking in HIS paths. Our other primary mission is to provide a challenging educational program that meets the needs of our students' academic, social, physical and emotional needs. At the heart of CHS is Christ, providing a firm foundation, not only for success in school, but also for success in a very challenging world.

CHRISTIAN HERITAGE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

GRATEFULNESS – Making known to God and others in what ways they have benefited my life. “…always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:20
THE PRINCESS & THE PEA – THANK YOU to everyone involved with "Princess and the Pea." It was a terrific show and lots of fun. Thank you to those parents and friends who came to watch the show--you were a great audience and helped us feel successful. And a special thanks to all those of you who worked tirelessly on costumes, props, sets and rehearsing lines with your students. And the biggest thanks of all go to you students who performed onstage and off. We heard nothing but compliments on the play. Thank you from the directors, Lynn and Knute Hernas.
CHS BASKETBALL CAMP: Coach Knotts is eagerly anticipating camp starting June 19, 20, & 21. Get those registrations into the office; if you need a form, please contact the office.
SILVERWOOD – Wednesday, May 16th, the 9th – 12th Grades will be traveling to Silverwood for a roller coaster competition.
SPRING BANQUET - Tickets are available for the 9th – 12th Spring Banquet to be held in Spokane May 19th. See John Lunde to purchase your tickets.
SPORTS PHYSICALS – Thursday, May 24th, North Basin Medical Clinics will be offering Sports Physicals at CHS for $30. Any student who will be participating in a fall or winter sport is required to have a physical. If you are interested in having your student get a sports physical, please contact the school office by Monday, May 21st, and we will send the form home for you to fill out.
EKG TEST – Same day as Sports Physicals, EKG testing will also be available. The cost for this is only $15. This is a service being offered to many schools to detect early heart issues. Please let us know by Monday, May 21st.
CHRISTIAN T-SHIRT DAY – May 25th is Christian t-shirt day!
HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION – May 26th at 1 pm, our senior class will hold its graduation ceremony!
NO SCHOOL – Monday, May 28th, school will be closed for Memorial Day.
MAY 29TH HOT LUNCH – Please change your menu for May 29th from Spaghetti to Pizza, Green Salad & Applesauce.
